6D Las Acacias

Torrenueva is a small, unspoilt, mature hamlet on the coast some 10 miles east of Marbella and Puerto Banus and 25 minutes drive west along the coast road from Malaga Airport.
6D is about five minutes walk from the Blue Flagged Torrenueva beach with a small number of pleasant beachbars/restaurants and areas of sun-loungers and umbrellas. The Senda Litoral or the coastal boardwalk now provides a wonderful walkway all along the coastline to La Cala to the east and Cabopino to the west, 6.7kms long.
Just a few minutes’ walk from the apartment, at the bottom of the hill, is an excellent and friendly locally owned supermarket/newsagents.

The local community boasts Steve’s Bar and a small cluster of restaurants. The Portuguese run Llaves, (pronounced Yaves – the Keys) is a walking distance favourite, as is the inevitable Chinese. But there is also a great choice of Indian, Italian and Spanish.
Bombos on the beach, above, and further away but both walk able, we especially mention El Cortillo in La Cala – (booking is a good idea) and Antonio’s on the beach at Mira”ores. Julie’s Bar on the pretty harbour in Puerto Cabopino has a great “happy hour” with all drinks 2 for1. It’s a few minutes by car and worth the e#ort. There is a great mix of eateries too!
For a real treat, or a special occasion, Sunday Lunch at Hotel Oceano across the road is an (expensive) “institution”. Shop around and you will still !nd two or three courses and wine for around €16/€18.
